I just wanted to thank you for all of your journal entries about the Oregon PCT.  I will be retiring in summer 2012, and my plan is to complete the Oregon section of the PCT at that time.  All of your comments about preparation and actual trail conditions are really helpful and you both are an inspiration to me.  Good luck on your journey.  I hope the thunderstorms are not too bad.  They have been rattling the rooftops here in Eugene the last couple of nights.
